Privacy Policy
LimitPilot displays your own Claude usage limits and history. This policy explains what it does — and does not do — with your data. The short version: everything stays in your browser.
1Data we collect
We do not collect any data. The extension does not send your information to the developer, to any server, or to any third party. There is no account, no login to the extension, and no analytics or tracking.
2Data the extension reads (on your device)
Using your existing, signed-in Claude session, the extension reads your usage information from claude.ai — for example: usage percentages, limit reset times, your plan tier, and routine budget. This information is processed and stored only in your browser’s local storage.
3What we never read or store
The extension never reads, stores, or transmits your prompts, your conversations, message content, or your authentication cookies.
4Local storage & retention
The extension stores your settings, the latest usage snapshot, and a rolling 30-day history of usage snapshots locally. Older history is automatically removed. You can clear your history or reset the extension at any time from its Settings.
5Permissions
The extension requests only the permissions needed for its single purpose: storage, alarms, notifications, and access to https://claude.ai/* to read your own usage. It does not access any other websites.
6Third parties
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data. The extension communicates only with claude.ai, using your own browser session, to read your usage.
7Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
